IN A relatively small Rosebank auction, Aucor Property on Wednesday sold and confirmed stock worth R85m.
“Attendance exceeded expectations and out of 19 lots 13 were sold and confirmed from the floor. There were 30 registered buyers,” Greig Want of Aucor Property said. “In all it was a successful day and the sellers can be pleased with the results,” he said.
Mark Kleynhans of Aucor Property said he expected a muted response owing to the modest catalogue. “The auction exceeded expectations and the 70% confirmation rate is higher than the average rate. Seven or eight buyers were registered for certain lots, which is unusual.”

nThe Hajera, a retail centre in Fordsburg with five fully let shops on an erf of 990m², a gross building area (GBA) of 920m² and a gross annual income (GAI) of R102m was knocked down for R8.4m;
nA factory-warehouse in Laser Park Roodepoort, on an erf of 4,986m² (R14m);
nA warehouse with N1 highway frontage in Corporate Park North Midrand, with a gross lettable area (GLA) of 2,000m² (R9m);
nAn office building in the established Woodmead Office Park, on an erf of 2,979m², a GLA of 1,241m² and a GBA of 2,104m² (R9m);
nA retail building in Booysens on an erf of 670m² and an annual income of R204,000 (R2.3m);
nA Vanderbijlpark industrial property, on an erf of 2,766m² and GLA of 1,318m² (R1.61m);
