SA Corporate Real Estate Fund will build a shopping centre in Hammanskraal, Tshwane, at a cost of R107 million, the property group said on Monday.
The mall to be named Renbro Shopping Centre will be on the old Warmbaths road and it is due to be completed by August next year.
The centre boasts SuperSpar as its main tenant, which committed on a 10-year lease.
At least 75% of the centre's more than 80% committed tenants have indicated that they would stay for five years.
The initial yield for the Renbro centre is projected to be 9.2%.
The development of the centre forms part of the company's objectives of providing retail amenities in under-serviced areas that are commercially viable.
